What about the housekeeping?
Upon arrival, you’ll naturally find a clean flat. And we’ll also take care of the housekeeping after your departure. Housekeeping fees are included in the rental price. We however provide you with the house cleaning equipment you’ll need during your stay. Also, each of our flats is equipped with a dishwasher and a washing machine with dryer.
You can ask for an additional housekeeping services and/or fresh bed linens and towels during your stay.
Are bed linens and towels provided?
Yes, we do provide enough linens for the number of guests you specified when you made your reservation. You can ask for an additional housekeeping services and/or fresh bed linens and towels during your stay.
Is there an Internet connection?
Yes. All of our flats come with Wi-Fi–most of them with optical fiber. We’ll provide you with the password upon arrival. Stay connected for free 24/7.
Is a baby bed available?
Yes, all you need to do is notify us in advance, so that it’s ready for you when you arrive. The baby bed is provided for free.
Are pets accepted?
No (except upon special request and with our express written approval).
How to use the household appliances?
No worries, we’ll give you a grand tour of the house and all the details you need when welcoming you. In case of problems, we are at your disposal to answer all your questions during your stay.
How can I make a reservation?
It’s safe and simple. First, select your flat. Then, enter your arrival and departure dates. The page shows the total price of your stay, along with a clear and comprehensive cost estimate including the housekeeping fees. Click “Reserve”, and follow the instructions in order to pay the 20% advance deposit requested. As soon as we receive your payment, we’ll send you a confirmation email including all of your booking details and we will contact you in order to organize your arrival.

Is an advance deposit requested?
Yes, an advance deposit is requested in order to confirm your reservation. The deposit equals 20% of the total amount of the stay. You can safely and securely make your payment using either a credit card, PayPal or wire transfer. You can also contact us if you want to pay using an other mean of payment.
As soon as we receive your advance deposit payment, we’ll send you a confirmation email including your Reservation Number and all of your booking details (exact address of the flat, name and contact details of the person in charge of checking you in, etc.) We will then contact you in order to make an appointment according to your arrival times. We will also give you the name and contact info of the person who will be there to welcome you.
What if I want to cancel?
Your advance deposit will be refunded to you in its entirety if you notify us at least 4 weeks prior to your expected arrival date. If you fail to notify us 4 weeks prior but notify us at least 1 week before your arrival, we will convert your advance deposit into a credit note that you can use for 6 months on any new reservation. If no new reservation is made after that 6-months period, the amount of the deposit will be irrevocably lost. If the cancellation is made less than a week before the date of arrival, the advance deposit will not be refunded.

What if I want to change dates?
If you wish to change the dates of your reservation, please let us know by email. If the flat is available at those new dates and the request is made at least 3 weeks prior to the expected arrival date, we’ll change your reservation at no additional costs, and will apply the prices shown on the calendar. After that period, the change must be confirm to you and we will do all we can to respond favorably to it. However, if it is not possible and you decide to cancel the reservation, Casa Cosi will apply the Cancellation Policy described in the General Terms & Conditions.
Please note that special offers and promotions are nonrefundable and that their dates cannot be changed.
Price and Payment
When should I pay the advance deposit?
When making your reservation, we request an advanced deposit of 20% of the total amount in order to book the flat at the dates you specified. You can safely and securely make your payment using either a credit card, PayPal or wire transfer. Once we receive your payment, we’ll send you a confirmation email including all the information you need.
When and how should I pay the remaining amount due for my reservation?
You’ll need to pay the outstanding balance upon check-in (when you arrive and take possession of the flat), you will also have to pay the touristic tax and the eventual extra fees. You can do so either by credit card or by cash (in Euros).
Any additional taxes or extra costs?
Your cost estimate shows the total price you’ll pay. In addition to this price, you may have to pay extra fees according to the city where you will reside.
- Touristic tax: according to the legislation of each city, you can be asked to pay a touristic tax. The touristic tax is calculated when you arrive and depends of the number of persons and the number of nights you will stay in the apartment. This tax is a legal obligation, we have to collect it and give it back to the municipality.
- Touristic tax in Barcelona: 2,48€ per person and per night for a maximum of 7 nights. Children younger than 16 years old do not have to pay.
- Touristic tax in Florence: 2,50€ per person and per night for a maximum of 10 nights. Children younger than 10 years old do not have to pay.
- Late check-in:
- Barcelona: extra fee of 30€ for check-ins between 9pm and midnight, extra fee of 50€ for check-ins after midnight. Extra fee of 30€ for check-ins on Sundays and public holidays.
- Florence: extra fee of 30€ for check-ins between 8pm and midnight, extra fee of 50€ for check-ins after midnight.
Is a deposit requested?
Yes, a 200€-deposit per stay is requested upon check-in, when you receive the keys. You can either pay it by cash or by credit card (credit card imprint for the amount of the deposit). The deposit will be returned to you when you check out if there is no damage or complaint.
Can I request a bill?
Yes, we can provide a bill upon request. Just send us an email including the name and contact details of the individual or company to bill. We will issue the bill only after full payment has been received.
Do you charge extra costs for babies?
You won’t be charged any extra costs for babies. The prices are per night and per flat. We’ll provide you with a free baby bed upon request.
Where do I get the keys to the flat?
We’ll be welcoming you at the entrance of the building in order to hand over the keys to you. Please remember to provide us with your estimated time of arrival at least 48h before the start of your stay–so that we can organize your check-in. If you are flying, it may be useful to let us know your flight number.
At what time can I check in?
Check-in time is from 3pm every day. When it’s possible, we can eventually welcome you sooner but it all depends of the availability of the flat and of our schedule for the cleaning. A check-in before 3pm must be confirmed to you 24h before the arrival.
When should I let you know my time of arrival?
Please let us know your estimated time of arrival as early as possible and at least 48h before the start of your stay so that we can organize your check-in. If you are flying, it may be useful to let us know your flight number.
Behavior rules during your stay
Our flats are located in central buildings which co-owners will be your neighbors during your stay. Showing respect to your neighbors is of course essential. Therefore, please avoid any unreasonable noisy behavior inside the flat and common portions of the building, and make sure to keep the common portions clean.
Should I take special precautions during my stay in Barcelona?
Barcelona is a rather safe city. However, like in any city, crowded tourist sites can also attract pickpockets. So just take what you need for the day. Also, please remember to close the doors and windows of the flat at night and when you go out.
If you’re driving to Barcelona
We chose our flats for their central positions, nearby public transport. As a consequence, none of our flats offers a parking space. However, if you are looking for a nearby parking lot, do not hesitate to contact us.
I’m travelling with children
Our flats are just the ideal choice if you’re visiting the city with family. For the younger ones, we can provide you with free baby bed (upon request). Please feel free to ask us if you need any special equipment or if you’re simply looking for places of interest for children.
At what time should I check out?
Check-out is at 11am so that we can have the flat prepared for new guests.
Can I check out later?
If you need to leave later, please let us know and we will give you an answer as early as possible–depending on the availability of the flat.
